Tyre's historical connection to the Holy Scriptures. It was mentioned in relation to King Hiram, the prophets David and Solomon, and even the arrival of Christ and the Virgin Mary. In 1124, during the First Crusade, Tyre became a crucial trading center, linking the West to the East via the Silk Road. Tyre maintained its renowned purple dye production and thrived as a church diocese. Blending elements from Greek and Roman civilizations with Christian teachings, Tyre's identity became purely religious. Our archaeological journey reveals preserved artifacts and some intact buildings like the city's entrance and an inner road. We have selected from this era.

ولمدينة "صور" اِرْتباطٌ تاريخيٌّ بالكتاب المقدَّس، فقد ذُكِرَت فيه غير مرَّةٍ، من علاقة الملك "حيرام" بالنبيّين "داوود" و"سليمان"، إلى قدومِ المسيحِ وأمّه العذراء مريم إليها، مرورًا بعرس قانا ومعجزة المسيح الأولى. وقد سيطر الصَّليبيّون المسيحيّون عليْها في العام 1124 بعد الحملة الصَّليبيّة الأولى، حيث أصبحت مركزًا تجاريًّا مُهمًّا يربُط الغرب بالشّرق عبر طريق الحرير. في هذه الحقبة، واصلَتْ صور إنتاج صبغتها الأرجوانيَّة الشهيرة واِزْدهرَت بوصفِها مَقرًّا لمطرانيّة الكنيسة. بعد أنْ جمعت بين نتاج الحضارتيْن اليونانيّة والرُّومانيّة، ومزجتْهُ بتعاليم الدِّيانة المسيحيّة، فتحوّلَ وجهها إلى وجهٍ دينيٍّ بحتْ. لذلك، نجِدُ في رحلتِنا بين العصور المثبتة بالآثارِ، التّشابه بين النّواويس وأشكالها، أمّا بعض الأبنية فقد بقيت على حالِها، كمدخل المدينة، مع طريقٍ مؤدّيةٍ إلى داخل المدينة. وقد اِخْترنا من هذا العصر
