Roman Era
This piece is inspired by the design of the "Anibatir" sarcophagus cover, named after the person buried inside it. Its cover is carved in the shape of fish scales because its owner was a hunter of the Murex seashell. We have taken the engineering of the cover from it, to bring out its history with a modern spirit. This design belongs to the third historical stage of the city of Tyre, the Roman era that spanned from 64 BCE to 313 CE. However, the carved head of "Medusa" on it dates back to the Greek myths that extended into the Roman era. It is known that the Romans adopted many of the Greek gods and myths, giving most of them names specific to them
